Global Dovedale

This is a brand new Dovedale blog designed to keep you up-to-date with all our global news. Currently, Dovedale has a link with a school in France and a school in Gambia. We often fundraise for the school in Gambia and your continued support is much appreciated by both pupils in this school and the pupils of Grace Baptist School in Gambia.

Thank you for your donations . . .

The Head teacher of Grace Baptist School has sent a reciept showing how the money you raised during World Water Day in March has been used.

In the letter, Solomon thanks you for your kind donation of £420 towards work on the school.
He has used the money to buy rice for school lunches and to pay postage on items sent to the UK. He has also put some money towards the cost of transport as he brings children from outside Ghana Town to the school. The money pays for their fare on the community bus.
