THANK YOU!
As always, your generous donations have made a massive difference to the lives of the pupils of Grace Baptist School in Gambia.
Recently, staff were able to start work building an extension to the school building. This was partially paid for with the money raised by Dovedale Junior School.
Below you will find photos of the building work, the current classrooms and the children you are helping. You can also see the children reading the popular book 'The Rainbow fish' and making their own fish during an art lesson. There is also a picture of the school mini bus we helped to fund last year.
Children, how does Grace Baptist School compare to Dovedale School?
Can you see differences or similarities between our classrooms or school building?
As you can see, your donations really do mean so much.
Thank you again for your continued generosity for this worthy cause.
I would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you for the amazing turn out on Friday night. It was very moving to see so many parents, carers, teachers and pupils in our school hall and canteen raising money for such a wonderful cause.
Because of your amazing generosity we managed to raise a incredible £730!!!
This money will go towards rebuilding the school grounds and buying a minibus to help transport children from outside villages to their school.
I'd like to say another big thank you to Katy Farrell and Anna Watson in 6F who ran the face painting stall unassisted for the entire event. They were incredibly mature and professional and I am very appreciative of the time they gave up to help Gambia.
Thank you once again for all your hard word and support, it is very much appreciated.
Miss Cordon.
